TSUNAMI VISUAL TECHNOLOGIES, INC., ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF
MEHDI EGHBAL AS NATIONAL SALES MANAGER
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 22, 2001, Fremont, California.
Tsunami Visual Technologies, Inc., has announced that they have hired
coin-op industry veteran Mehdi Eghbal to join their sales team as the National
Sales Manager.
Eghbal joined the Tsunami team at the end of August 2001, bringing several
years of experience in the coin-operated video game industry to this emerging
leader in motion simulation. He was most recently with Global VR as their
National Sales Manager and held the same position with Interactive Light
Technologies prior to their acquisition of assets by Global VR.
Tsunami¹s VP of Sales and Marketing, Brian Duke, says of Eghbal, "Mehdi is
a welcomed member and a great addition to our team. I personally have the
utmost respect for Mehdi's integrity and believe he fits well with Tsunami¹s
business philosophies. Having been in the amusement industry for several
years, Mehdi has already developed solid relationships with the same
customer base that Tsunami currently targets. He truly has an understanding
of the market, as well as the respect of those who have dealt directly with him."
"From the first time I saw Tsunami's piece, I knew they had a real hit on their
hands," says Eghbal. "The TsuMo™ distinguishes itself from anything else
currently in the market for many reasons. There is nothing out there that
comes close to giving players the experience that this does, and that can
mean nothing but good business for the operator's cash box."
Tsunami first debuted their TsuMo™ at the IAAPA 2000 show in Atlanta.
TsuMo™ is a fully interactive coin-operated motion simulator. Capable of full
six degrees of freedom movement, the system enables real life simulation of
any motion needed by any software program. One of its most unique features
is that the platform has the capability to run multiple games or motion rides on
the same unit. TsuMo's™ first title, Beach Head 2000, was adapted for coin-
op play by Tsunami from a popular home PC title and has been extremely
popular with players across the country, becoming the top earning video at a
wide variety of arcades. Additional software titles are developed in-house as
well as licensing agreements with well-known PC software makers.
